October 2003

(photo above)Richard Goddard heads home Harrow Borough Fc's first goal just before half time against Newport IoW.Harrow went on to win this FA Cup 3rd Qualifying round replay by 2 goals to nil to set up a 4th Qualifying round Home tie against Hereford United currently leaders of the Conference. MATCH REPORT
I have a soft spot for Hereford United. They were the opposition when I took 2 of my sons to their first Fulham Fc match at Craven Cottage.Fulham won that Third division match by 1-0.....I hope Harrow do the same.

Harrow Borough Fc play in the Ryman League Premier Division.
The nearest train stations to the Earlsmead ground are Northolt Park(Chiltern Line),South Harrow(Piccadilly Line) and Northolt(Central Line). Price of admission is £7 for adults and £1 for children and £4 for Senior Citizens.....therefore it's a hell of a lot cheaper than Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur. Programmes cost £1.50.There is a supporters outlet where a selection of programmes are available and souvenir Harrow Borough Fc mugs @ £3.There is a refreshment bar in the ground and alcoholic drinks are available in the Club House. The toilet facilities inside the ground are not as good as they could be but the toilet facilities in the Club House are available during matches and these are excellent.
If you haven't tried Non League Football before and live in West or North West London come and give Harrow Borough Fc a try......you might even like it.

Please note that the prices for the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie against Hereford United on Saturday 25th October 2003 have been increased to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions(kids,Old Coggers etc.)Programmes will cost £1.50p and spectators will be segregated. The Hereford United fans are to penned in housed in the School End and the Earlsmead Side and the Harrow Borough Fc fans will be at the Club House End and the Arundle Drive Side.
Lucky Old Bulls get the Refreshment Hut then !!!
